Good morning from dd1's accommodation again! She's just gone to make us both a brew before we get moving for the day.

Our plan is to head to Bread Ahead for coffee and pastries, then the Wembley Stadium shop if it's easily findable, before it gets busy, for a fridge magnet for a colleague/friend who is touring the world in fridge magnets, and then Asda to do dd a shop (thanks Bank of Grandad!).

After Asda, I'll pack, and then we plan to take my case & get the Lioness line back towards Kings Cross. We'll wander to Coal Drops Yard for a while & see what else we can find in the area before eating (dd fancies Waggamama).

By then, it'll be time for my train home ready for work tomorrow 😥.

Dd2 plans to revise all day, again! I'll talk to her in a bit & see if she's doing anything else.

Good morning lucysmam and others. Sounds like another nice day for you. I have no plans for today apart from finally tackling the ironing pile that has been looking at me accusingly for a week. Thereafter it will be pottering about. Dark clouds overhead means I probably won't be gardening. Fajitas for dinner later. Enjoy your day.

It's a lovely sunny morning here. I'm on my second plate of toasted tiger bread and jam, as the cat decided to drag her tail across the first lot. She's now licking jam off her tail.
Off yo my class shortly. Maybe a bit of gardening this afternoon.
DH and I are going to see Keifer Sutherland and his band tonight, I may have a bit of a crush on him, right back to the 80s. Debating whether to go for food first. Have a great Sunday.

I had a very early meeting with a client from another country. Just had breakfast with DH and we are off for a hike and pub lunch. Back for an evening Zoom call with DS1 who lives abroad and DS2 who is in UK. Looking forward to today.

LOL at the cat dragging its tail across your breakfast. Our new DCat has finally realised he is no longer a stray and doesn't have to forage for food (he ate slugs when he first arrived) but can press a button for food. The button is my chest, 6.20am spring landing every day.

Good morning @lucysmamand all. I’ve just finished a yoghurt bowl in bed and considering getting up for a second coffee.

We’re off out with friends today, starting at a favourite pub in soho and then heading to a ‘naice’ restaurant in Shoreditch. Will need to get up and showered so I can start getting ready shortly.

Our restaurant booking is at 4pm and both sets of friends coming live out of London so won’t be wanting to stay in town too late I expect. Hoping therefore, that we’ll be back in good time for a relatively early night before a busy week ahead!

I have a day with no plans today as my house is an utter disaster and need to try and battle with it. I’ll start with the bathrooms. Yay 🙄😆

I have already done a Tesco shop early this morning, which will be delivered late afternoon; I’m planning on trying to prep the week’s meals a bit once that comes.

I will be doing a bit of mum taxi duties taking my younger dd to meet her friends. Also picking up an order from next.

Im with DS and DH for DS hobby. Bacon rolls have been promised. This will be on for a few hours then home, hoping for an hour nap as had a bad sleep last night.

Need to get lunch box bits in and sort uniforms. Not an exciting day.

I bought burgers yesterday from the butcher so that will be tea. Have a few notes for an essay I’m doing to write up before bed.

Quiet day today for us. No one is dressed yet! DS has a dancing exam this afternoon so will take him to that. Otherwise, ironing, getting a few bits from Morrisons and hiding from the rain!

I had a very rare night to myself last night as DD is away on her DofE bronze expedition so I am expecting to get a message from her last checkpoint some time this afternoon to go and collect her.

I’m not going to lie, I’ll be glad to get DD back but it has been great to have some much needed me time!!!! I do need to give the upstairs a good giving over and mow the lawn if it doesn’t rain. I’ll also be making the most of the time on my own by watching a film later snuggled up with old boy cat with snacks!

still in bed here, with a brew. Did the moonwalk in London last night - only the 10k as did it with my Dd12 and niece as well as my lovely friend. the girls really enjoyed it and we raised some money for a great charity. I’m a bit achy!

Its been a really busy week so think today might be a bit of a quiet one, fancy watching a film once we’ve driven DNiece home and then need to do a bit of work later.

No idea what’s for dinner as DH did the shop while we were out 🤣

Good morning everyone. There’s just me awake at the moment so it’s lovely and peaceful. Dd11 went for a last minute sleepover at a friend’s last night and I’ve no idea what time dh got home from the pub last night but I’m assuming it was late as hes still asleep! I imagine he might be feeling a little delicate this morning 😆

Ive done nothing so far this morning apart from take delivery of the new dishwasher which arrived at 8.30am so that will need to be plumbed in by dh at some point today. Other than that I have no plans whatsoever which is such a nice feeling. I’m just going to potter around the house today and relax.

I'm on a train from Berlin to Krakow for most of the day.

Nothing planned today which is lovely after at least a month of fully booked weeks and weekends. Both toddler and dog need a good run outside and I could really do with getting to some gardening during nap time.

Stroganoff for dinner, it was supposed to be Tuesday but neither of us have fancied it and it’s been pushed back and back so it will have to be tonight because there’s nothing else!

Should probably get showered and dressed soon…

We love Coal Drops Yard. Check out Camley Street nature reserve (they do lovely - albeit expensive - coffee and cake in the cafe)

Today I am ploughing through the chores before I take DC2 to a birthday party at 11am (they are doing an activity and then lunch and then heading to a local adventure playground if the rain holds off so pick up time and location is still in flux)

DC1 is going to cycle over to see a friend and they are going to have a few games of table tennis and use the park gym equipment.

DC3 and I are going to head to the park after dropping DC2.

Dinner later is Chinese style pork loins, salad and rice. I cheat and use a 'rub' from the little Chinese store we have nearby.

We're going to watch a film later and then early night before the last week before half term.

Good morning, had breakfast and I plan to finish the book I’m reading. This afternoon I’m off to the cinema with DD to watch Devil wears Prada 2, she is treating me.
I also plan to see if BA has located our luggage yet.

@lucysmamI’m working for 1.5 hours this morning and for around 20 minutes this evening. Apart from that, I want to properly organise my handbag (no mean feat!) tidy the bedroom and iron my clothes for the week ahead. It’s all rock n roll here!

Morning! I have been down to feed the cats and made myself a cup of tea and now back lying in bed. It’s a sunny day out so soon will go back down to open the back doors to enjoy the garden - my son came up this week and mowed the lawn and did a tidy up so looking good! Could use some colour…
My goal today is to do a crochet t shirt from start to finish. I have a half finished project that should have been done for Christmas but I’m not sure how to do the next bit so I’ve not picked up a hook in a while so think an easy project will get me back into it.
Also time to change the beds (I hate it - fitted sheets are the devil’s invention) so will get that in the wash first. I have some life admin to do - updating my Will and the lawyer has emailed me a load of questions - but just might put that off til tomorrow. Tonight it’s teriyaki chicken stir fry and Legends mini series on TV.
As you mention your DD mine has to finish her last 4000 word essay this week then the academic year is over! But she has her paid internship at uni and she’s got an academic journal she’s editing to get out so will stay til the official end of term. Then home for a week before she heads off to Columbia for another internship (am I worried? Absolutely! She has to fly through Miami which is an awful airport and arrives at midnight in Columbia - I hope someone will be meeting her). It will be a quiet summer without her.

I have a couple of hours of house work to do- yippee 🙄 and I’m really hoping we can apply for the nhs bursary today for daughters uni in September- finally managed the student loan application yesterday after a stressful few weeks (granted mainly caused by my husband’s cock up 😬)

I also want to do two TikTok videos today. Last month I made £7.50 and this month I made £6.39 so far , so I have set myself a challenge to do two videos (one with content and once for sales ) every day for a month and see how long it takes / if it’s a potential viable side hustle.

Good morning @lucysmam and everyone. We've just got back from swimming and I'm cold and hungry so I'm having a low calorie hot chocolate before going through the food cupboards with Mr Dilemma.

A food hub has opened locally to us.... NOT a food bank, it is open to everyone and is about avoiding food waste. We go there every week and usually pick up some fruit and veg and sometimes some bread... but I feel guilty as taking and not giving so we're going through the cupboards to see if there is anything we're not going to eat so that we can take it down there. We will also check for out of date stuff so that we can get rid of it (NOT to the food hub!) I bought myself a load of ambient readymeals a while ago to help me lose weight, and some of them I don't like at all - so we have already sorted those out to take to the food hub.

He wash with our swimming towels is already in the machine. I'm going to work on my crafting this afternoon.

I'm going to have cod in batter with green beans tonight... I think Mr Dilemma is going to try the chicken in black bean sauce readymeal I have rejected because it contains chilli.

Good afternoon @lucysmam & The Sunday Crew. I’m still in bed as this virus has knocked me for six. Think the pain from a trapped nerve or whatever I’ve done to myself is worse though. Really getting me down now. If it carries on much longer, I’ll try to arrange some physio ( can get a few free sessions through the surgery). Supposed to be working although only a 2 hour shift today. I’ll have a hot shower in a mo & wear my super sexy shower cap 🤣🤣🤣 The heat did help when I had one yesterday. I don’t want to go out anywhere but it’s the last day to collect an Inpost parcel from the shop before it gets returned to Vinted. I’ll watch BGT later as I only saw part of it last night then fell asleep.DH & I watched a bit of Eurovision. DH has offered to make cheese omelettes for tea so we’ll have them with chips. We don’t have any salad stuff in. DD17 always sorts herself out although she might want some chips. She has the same virus but is further along with it. DH is cleaning out the rabbits & may go for a bike ride if the weather holds. Have a good day all 🙂🙂

Whoops! A tad late….. I don’t have any excuses for doing not a lot today, just cba 😁
So, the 5th load of washing is in the machine, everything is drying nicely on the line. I’ve changed the bed, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, made a tagine for dinner ( which we’ll have with flatbread and couscous), fed the dogs and cleaned out the wood burner and filled the log basket.
That’s it apart from a dog walk later and I want to do some more embroidery.
