Vegetarian lasagne (home made), cottage pie (M&S made for those who don’t like lasagne), minted jersey royals, charred sweetheart cabbage & radicchio, probably simple boiled asparagus, and garlic stuffed mushrooms(M&S). Then bread & butter pudding or frangipane sponge (details as yet unknown as I forgot to label before freezing 🤭) custard & ice cream. Wine.
Lots of leftovers for the week, hopefully.

We had roast pork, stuffing, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and veg and I made rhubabrb crumble for pudding. Really enjoyed it today.

Steamed haddock, oven roast courgette, peppers, onion and tomatoes for me. The rest of the family are having glazed gammon, roast potatoes, asparagus and glazed carrots.

Husband is currently cooking a delicious roast (slow cooked gammon, roast potatoes, swede, parsnips, carrots and yorkshires with gravy) for us, the kids and my mum.
He bans me from the kitchen when he is cooking 😆 and being 40 weeks pregnant i'm glad to be putting my feet up anyway!

Strawberries, meringues and cream for dessert 😋

Roast (dehydrated, so pink and tender) topside of beef, Jersey Royals, cauliflower cheese, ratatouille, peas, and gravy.

Dinner for one here, I’m thinking of a pan fried chicken breast, some sort of sauce, new potatoes and something green. I’ve just asked AI to give me a sauce for one and it’s suggested cream, Dijon, garlic, and thyme. So possibly that.

One of my favouritre things is breakfast for dinner.

I like it more than breakfast for breakfast. It seems odd, I know!
