What knee support/cushion do people use at night

I have pain below my knee, its getting worse

Physio says exercise but I barely have enough spoons to eat/live so I only can do so much

So I need a support/cushion between my knees at night - what do people use - i can't cope with the weight pressure when im on my side (either side) and on my back I need something to stop my leg going straight/flat/backwards

Im hypermobile with fibromyalgia, I cycle but load bearing exercise is tricky

What should I look at buying?

I use a v shaped pillow so I can lay it long my body then put it between my knees as otherwise I pick it away.

I use a squish mellow between knees . They very soft and keeps my hips inline .

I use a normal rectangular pillow between my knees and I find that stays in place and keeps my knees straight too.

Poor DH hates my knee pillow! He ended up hugging it the other day

I got mine from Amazon, it has a velcro strap so it can't wander off in the night!
Totally cured my night time hip pain (I had been blaming perimenopause but it turns out not everything in middle age is the menopause!😄).

I bought a pregnancy pillow off Amazon over 10 years ago and I can’t sleep without it. It has cured my back aches. I sleep on my side with it parallel to me, then I tuck it between my knees and under my belly to stop me rolling and oh I have the most wonderful sleep!

I have a long (60cm) narrow inflatable pillow that has a semi-circle cross-section. It’s great when I’m lying on my back - the flat side rests on the bed and the curved side fits perfectly under my knees. When I lie on my side I have it in front of me and rest my top leg on it.

I like it being inflatable. You can blow it up to be full and hard, or less full/more yielding. Also very easy to pack when travelling.

I don’t like the small thing that you can strap to your leg. It propped my knee, but my foot felt out of alignment, as if my leg were a lever lifting my hip. That might be right for you, but I didn’t like it. Best thing for me is a synthetic pillow lengthways between my legs. Much as I love to sleep in a feather and down pillow, synthetic is better for knee-propping.

I’ve got a tempur pillow I use. It’s perfect, it stays in position, moulds to exactly the right height and has transformed my pain levels.

I’ve got a regular rectangular pillow but it’s memory foam and a bit firm and chunky. Stays in place between my knees when I’m on my side and doesn’t bother me if I’m in any other position. Can’t imagine sleeping without it - I’m sure my hips will be on fire!
