Also, if anything, “sending hugs OP” is probably on most threads bar AIBU that’s basically a public stoning board.

What are the other new terminologies? Bring me up to speed!

I’ve been on Mumsnet for donkeys & it’s always been a saying.

It’s been around years. Not sure where it started .

It’s been around for ages, it referred to Netmums being a more “hugs hun” kind of place, unlike MN where “hugs” go down like a lead balloon.

Yeah it was a thing years and years ago when the Net mums were considered to be way too hugs and huns
