Missing Vinted parcel

I sold a parcel on vinted at start of April and it went via inpost. It’s been sitting in their warehouse since April 10th and in spite of repeated messages to vinted from both myself and the buyer they keep saying that they need more time to investigate it.Had it just been a few pounds worth I would have left it by now,but it’s a Mulberry bag and I can’t leave it.I’m at a loss as to what I should do next.Has anyone got any experience f this?

You will get compensation if they lose it. I wouldn't worry about it

I had a parcel lost in the same way via Evri. The last update was that it was in their sorting office, and then that's where it stayed for weeks. The buyer had to wait a very long time, from the middle of March until the start of May, and then Vinted refunded us both.

The Vinted messaging for the order should tell you how long you have to wait until you will be refunded - has it not yet?

It should have been yesterday however they messaged to say they’ve suspended the sale while they investigate further and it’s going to be another week

My item was low value, so I guess their system was ok with refunding both me and the buyer, as that was less than £10 for the both together!

I wonder if because it's a high value item, their system has flagged it as they don't want to pay presumably hundreds to both you and the buyer. I would reckon that they are currently pursuing InPost to see if they can find it, and actually deliver it.
