London touristy shop suggestions for the weekend?

I'm off to visit dd1 from tomorrow after work to early Sunday evening. We're going to a gig tomorrow night, then heading to Fortnums/Harrods/Liberty/Selfridges on Saturday (I originally suggested Camden or Chinatown - she was not thrilled with either suggestion).

Any other shops you can think of that fit the "touristy ish" bill? Or anything else we could do? I'll do some googling but thought I'd ask for recs on here too.

Last time I visited, we started at Westminster & walked miles before hopping on the tube to the O2 to locate our entrance for Florence & The Machine and eat.

Covent Garden? Any of the parks? London Eye? There are marches/demos you should probably avoid. Google the routes/timings.

Depends what you are into, but

Covent Garden is always good, some fab live music in the evenings

House of Spells on Charing Cross Road is lovely, does some amazing film memorabilia for Harry Potter, Game of thrones, Lord of the Rings etc.

Kensington Gardens are lovely

St James Park has some lovely cafes

London Eye

Millennium Walkway

Cutty Sark

Borough Market

Check Sky Gardens /Horizon websites and see if there are tickets available

Not sure exactly what you mean by touristy shops but Covent Garden and all the shops around Neals Yard and Monmouth Street/Severn Dials might fit the bill?

If not too far, Upper Street in Islington? Or as others have suggested Sloane Street?

As someone else has mentioned, there are 2 huge marches in central London on Saturday.
There's some information here:-https://metro.co.uk/2026/05/14/roads-closed-london-tommy-robinson-counter-protests-28364798/
You might need to do some ducking and diving to avoid the crowds

All the roads closed in London during Tommy Robinson and counter protests
