How can I cat-proof patio doors for summer?

I'm soon to be moving into a new flat and it has the exact same doors as in the picture, there are no windows in the living room, just these.

I have an indoor cat. atm I just open my windows on the latch so they are always slightly open but nowhere near enough for my cat to get out.

I'm wondering what to do in summer because if I leave these open my cat will obviously get out!

Any idea of how i can cat proof them because I don't fancy melting in my flat when the weather is hot lol

You might be able to add an inner screen so that you open the outside door but still have a screen made of fine metal mesh or fabric mesh on the inside?

I never managed to actually achieve it in my last home or this but on my next house move I am seriously contemplating getting a cat patio made up so I can open the doors. The cat patio will have an external door so you can still escape into the garden if needs be.

EDIT - I had the above product for upstairs windows but they weren't very easy to open/shut windows once on, but they did stop the cat from a lemming jump.

We have Flat Cat screens.

We only have window ones but they're good. I know they do door screens too.

An added bonus is you can have windows open in the summer without lots of flies coming inside.

Flat cats, or but the mesh and velcro (from Amazon) and make your own

The only other alternative is to make a mesh door
