Does anyone know how long roughly it takes to get MRI results back from the NHS, the MRI was categorised as urgent was done in under 2 weeks. It’s for sport injury that will require reconstructive surgery in a child. It’s been just over 2 weeks and we haven’t been sent an appointment to see the consult review the results.

I’ve had one for other reasons recently but also urgent and my letter said up to 1-2 weeks and if I haven’t heard by then to phone the doctor who referred me. Hopefully you’ll hear tomorrow but if you have a number to call to check I think you’d be fine to do that since it’s been 2 weeks.

Thank you @Tarkan I will contact the consultants secretary as her extension is on the letter. It’s difficult to know when to contact them and when to wait as I know they’re busy.
