Any independent book sellers here, question about Spotify

I don’t have an independent bookshop within easy access - just Waterstones and then charity shops for second hand.

Just had something from Spotify about buying books through them and it will support independent bookshops.
I can’t find what they mean and lm suspicious it’s just to make them look good.

Is there any other way I can support your independent shops online if I can’t get to one physically? (I think they are important because they have a wider range of books and support local authors.)

Here!

or just give your most local one a call - many will post things out themselves.

I’m not an independent bookseller, but I buy books from Hive online, and at the checkout stage you can nominate a selected independent bookshop to receive a small percentage of the sale. I always choose the same lovely bookshop, in a small town I visited a few years ago.

Thank you both - found my nearest shop now and I might be able to go at some point - harder because I’m on public transport.
