exhausted after shopping

I'm a woman. I've just had a day of shopping, in argos, dunelm, and a few other places, mostly for essentials. I needed all household stuff - storage, a clothes horse, a mop, and so on. Also got insoles, and a bidet. There's so many options on all of it.
I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this. I don't enjoy the process of shopping. Maybe it's my fault for buying it all in one go.
My head is fried, and my stress levels are high.

Do you not do research online first? Or click and collect?

purpledagger · 14/05/2026 21:47

it is lot to do in one day - lots of different items from different shops.

i research items online so that when i go to the shops, i broadly know what i’m looking for and means i can just target the items i picked.

i find that shops are quieter first thing, so i like to go early before it gets busy.

I get most things online. I am no longer physically able to go trawling round the shops.

SerenitySeeker4 · 15/05/2026 20:09

I'd suggest do online shopping.

Have you just moved house? That’ll do it. Very stressful in itself
