How can I get a fusty smell out of leather jacket lining?

I bought a fab leather jacket from Vinted, but the lining smells fusty - any tips?

Bicarbonate of soda absorbs odours. You can buy a couple of tubs and put the jacket in a bin bag with the open tubs for a few days and tie the bag shut. If you put a few drops of essential oil in the tubs that may help too.
The other option is a specialist dry cleaner. Not a bog standard dry cleaner, they have to be leather specialist, so ££’s. I’d try the sealed bag and bicarb first. Leave it as long as you can, even changing out the bicarb for new tubs after a few days maybe.

If the above doesn't work (which it should!) try turning the jacket inside out and hanging it outside to air. I wear a lot of vintage clothes and sometimes this is the only way to get rid of the smell, good luck!
