London dungeons for 8 year old

My nephew will be 8 in June. He loves gore and blood and history. Is he the right age for the London dungeons? Don’t want to give him nightmares.

At a similar age I was taken countless times to the Chamber of Horrors (Madame Tussauds) as a “treat” and had a morbid fascination with it.

Mine were fine with it at that age but they wanted to stay close to us!!

I think he’d love it. His mum on the other hand…

I’m sure she’d say yes just I don’t think she’d come along. My brother (nephew’s dad) would come.

I wouldn't be in a rush tbh.

I took DD round York Dungeons at that age and she found it scary. It hasn't put her off as she really enjoys visiting them in different cities now.
