Not sure if it’s 6 or 8 inches.

£50 would usually be really good for a cake, as they're not cheap to make and you're paying for their expertise and time etc as well.
That looks really amateur, though! I wouldn't be happy either.

I would definitely complain. M and s has cakes so much nicer for half that. I am sure most supermarkets do.

Did it taste ok? Try Cakebox if there is one near you.

The actual cake tasted okay. It’s annoying though because I can bake I just can’t decorate which is why I pay for cakes. I feel like I can decorate to an equivalent standard to this cake though.

I know professional cakes are expensive but in the past I have been so impressed. On this occasion I wish I’d just gone and got a Colin cake

It looks like something from an over promised/under delivered task on the Apprentice.

£10, tops at a kids bake sale.

I have paid lots of money for cakes in the past , I’d rather get a supermarket one now and a few treats instead of one big cake.

I paid £50 😭

I was having a terrible day and rushed to pick up the cake in between appointments. I was sent a photo which wasn’t amazing but it was passable. The baker put it in my car and it was only when I got home I saw it didn’t resemble the photo at all.

Oh me you know you've been diddled.
On first seeing it I thought it was a FB type chancer trying to sell cakes.
Google bad cakes and see what should've been and what was received.
Some will make you laugh
