Good Omens 3, anyone else thinking of not bothering?

The reviews are not good, fan reviews are really bad and then ending is really lazy according to what I have read. I know how it ends and .... just no.

I thought the second series was utter garbage, so I dont think I can face this one being even worse.

It was very clear where the talent was in the writing of the original book, as evidenced by the trash that Gaiman came up with in the second one, and I believe that although he had no input in writing/making the third series, the storyline was his.

Its an insult to Sir Terry. I really dont think I can bring myself to watch it.

I rather liked it. Then I went on Reddit and apparently I'm wrong, but I've never read any of these fan fiction stories that everyone was quoting so hey ho.

It suffers from being squished inasmuch as it's clear where it should have been a series and not a film, yes.

I am friend with Stephen Briggs who narrated the latter half of the Discworld books and worked with TP on the stage adaptations amongst other things. He tried to watch it earlier and is NOT a fan at all!

I’ll watch it, but mostly because I love Aziraphale and Crowley.

I agree that S1 was the high point, and I’ll also feel a bit bad for watching anything associated with NG.
