How have your kids been finding them? Mine thought yesterday’s was better than expected and today’s harder than expected. A couple of kids in her class cried.

We had a few criers today. Our kids are all EAL and the reading paper proved tricky for a lot of them. It’s such a lot of pressure for 10 and 11 year olds, much as we try and mitigate against it.

Yes, spag was fairly easy and reading was hard. It shouldn’t matter too much though as the pass marks change every year depending how the cohort does as a whole. Harder paper = lower marks for EXS, GDS.
