Have I been abducted by aliens?

I have a huge lump on the back of my head with bruising which looks like someone has had a go at me with a baseball bat. A two week headache and tinnitus.
I live on my own with my two cats, work full time and have zero recollection of banging my head on anything or falling over. Surely I would remember? I nust feel so confused about this. Im beginning to think Ive been sleep walking or abducted by aliens. Im a very light sleeper so I know nothing could have happened at night without me waking up. What's going on?

You could have fallen and now have amnesia around the time of the accident. I think you should seek medical attention as you have signs of a head injury and no recollection of what happened. Don't try to laugh it off or joke about it as some people will just hear the word aliens and stop looking at whether you need treatment. Just stick to the facts for now.

I only realised I’d fainted after I felt the bump on my head hours later. I assumed I’d lain on the floor as it was nice and cool. Went back to bed. Later that day wondered what the egg on my head was, and put 2&2 together.
