What age did your child stop using a car seat?

When tall enough. DSs are tall for their age (98th percentile) so at about 8.

Thanks! Dd is 9 and tall enough but quite skinny. Is it safer to stay in the seat as she is still compliant?

Shes safe until she reaches the height limit... usually 150cm. Although the law is 235cm

Look at the "5 point test" to know if shes safe. Without it.

My DS is 8 and tall for his age for skinny. We've taken the high back bit off his seat as it was uncomfortable but he still has the booster seat part underneath him. This might be helpful for you
