my phone randomly completely died, took it to apple and it can't be fixed so I had to get a new phone today.
Ever since installing whatsapp on my new phone it's been messed up and I can't think of anything else to try to fix it, tired everything on google including deleting whatsapp account and starting it again, checking for updates, checking all contacts are selected etc and nothing is working, so was wondering if anyone else has had this problem if you managed to fix it?
Issue is all my contacts now have no profile pictures, I can no longer see when anyone at all is online/last online (i have read reciepts on so its not that) and if someone goes to message me its telling them to invite me to whatsapp even though i'm on it and using it. I show in the 'invite to whatsapp' list and nobodt can see my profile pic/statues etc (all my settings on whatsapp are as they should be)
If I message someone to them its like we have never chatted before and they have to accept the message.
The only thing I can think of is because it was still logged in on my old dead phone it might have something to do with it?
