That's all I can get the fairly expensive seats! Been recommended the play and there's nothing else we want to see.

I've only ever seen the 2 film versions and I don't consider it one of AC's better efforts.

Personally, I wouldn't.

We went and sat in the jury, it was great fun. We had a few things ‘to do’ and it made it into a really different experience.

The expensive Jury seats are worth it - completely unique experience. The other seats in the stalls are much of a muchness.

It's a good version - I've seen it a couple of times

I really like the film version with Marlene Dietrich.
She is absolutely fascinating.

I don't know anything about the new stage version I'm afraid I would think if there is nothing else you want to see it woukd be worth going to as a co.parison experience if nothing else.

So the stage version...jury seats recommended???

We saw this in Ounty Hall last year. It is a great place to see this play, really adds to the atmosphere.

We sat in the courtroom stalls, B30-31 and enjoyed the play a lot. Tbh, the view.would have been good from anywhere as its quite a small space and the stage is in the middle of the room.

The jury seats are quite exposed, raised up and lit. I'm not sure I would have liked the feeling of being visible to the whole audience but apart from a quick look at the beginning and the verdict, I hardly looked up to those seats during the performance as there was always a lot happening on stage, even the set changes were interesting to watch.

An excellent play….. even if you do know the ending…

NB
Inter Alia, with Rosamund Pike, is also very good.

We went to see this at County Hall and thought it was great fun. We were in Row C (lower section) and they were honestly brilliant seats. I wouldn’t waste your money for the extra on-stage jury seats.

We went a few years back. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

NeedWineNow · 08/05/2026 16:44

We went to see it at County Hall and had seats at the side of the stage in the Courtroom Stalls. It was great and we felt really involved with the production. I wouldn’t have wanted to be in the jury seats

It was a brilliant performance, but I made the mistake of booking the very front row. You will get a crick in the neck if you sit here. Luckily there was a spare seat in row B and I grabbed it at the interval. It was so much better just that one row back.
