Candidates with no info

There’s something really offputting when there’s not even a token bit of blurb on a number of candidates standing for election. How long does that take to prepare?

Do you mean inside the polling Station? If so, that’s not allowed under election rules.

I stood as a candidate in local election once because the party i am a member for needed someone to fill a seat they had no hope of winning. So no campaigning no bio etc so when i see that i think it may be same situation but i also wonder if maybe they just dont give a shit which doesnt bode well to get my vote

You mean the election bit on the council website? They can't put bios on there either.

You need to search each candidate / party individually. A lot of councillors will have been serving on the council for years already.

Yup, quite a few of them have no info round here. Name and favourite biscuits in one case.
