I have health issues whereby I have to fairly frequently attend appointments at my local hospital. I have just become aware that my medical record is littered with 'Did Not Attend' notes. This is absolutely wrong - 2 examples, one time was an appointment I had to cancel but rebooked (and attended!) another was a phone appointment that I waited in for that was not made. I have a paper trail to prove it. It might not seem important in the grand scheme of things, but I feel that it is starting to affect my care. I have access to a hospital advice line/email service when I am really unwell. Yesterday I received a reply to a query I sent last week that didnt simply answer my query, but which also rather passive aggressively listed my 'missed' appointments. It is the second slightly snarky reply I have had from the helpline in the last few months. I am feeling a bit pissed off now. How can I get these DNAs off my record?
