Backpack for Work/Commute Recs please (Stackers or Alternatives)

I have been searching for a backpack for work/commute. I need enough space to hold a laptop, small lunchbox, small make up bag and a few other odds and ends. I like the aesthetic look of the Stackers backpack and the different compartments etc. but baulk slightly at the price tag for “vegan” leather.
Can anyone recommend a suitable alternative (leather would be nice however it’s ok if it is not leather as long as it is reflected in the price)? I want stylish but practical.
Alternatively, I would also be interested to hear from anyone that already has a Stackers backpack and feedback on how it has worn over time/ whether it was worth the money etc.

I have a Cotopaxi allpa 18l which is by far the best work backpack I have used. It may be too casual for what you are looking for although I think the black is smart enough.
There are some excellent Reddit subgroups (manybaggers in particular) where there is a lot of discussion about this! A lot of people love Aer on there but not my cup of tea.
