How do you read a DM reply on Mumsnet?

I have sent a message to respond to a kind post that was written in reply to my request. How do I see whether she has replied to me? I can’t see on my phone or iPad how to do this and don’t want to appear rude!

Click on the menu (it's the head and shoulders next to a downward arrow at the top right of the thread) then click on private messages (third down on the list)
