Busy yesterday, so chilling, doing word puzzles in the paper, watering the garden, knitting the 2nd ear and making a tail for my big cuddly Heffalump. Still 2 legs to go though.
Made garlic bread to go with a substantial minestrone for tonight.

aaah that sounds nice OP.

My DS1 is about to start his GCSE exams (wednesday for the first).

He is highly anxious and needs alot of hand holding (SEN). So I am sitting with him while he revises and i am MNetting. I have a glass of prosecco though. He plans to stop at 6 pm and then we will watch Star Wars (May the 4th be with you).

I guess it's perfect. Surrounded by my most adored people. DS2 is in the garden playing. DH is actually away for work but we have chatted alot today). Everyone is safe. We have had alot of laughs and I am about to cook chicken and rice.

Worked for 2 hours this morning, chip butties for lunch, panacilty at MILs for dinner, now lying on the couch watching Jane Macdonald with my 5 stone dog on top of me snoring.

TFImBackIn · 04/05/2026 17:39

Can you recommend a documentary, OP?

My DH and I went and bought a fancy new dining table with a mechanism that magically makes it expand into a six seater. Then we went to Tesco and bought my favourite for dinner, which DH is preparing now while I watch The Simpsons. I’m having a skinny day today and am enjoying being able to do my jeans up on account of giving up bread for a few days. Life is good

We did a 10 mile walk in the Peak District. Hot bath, bowl of cereal and settling down to watch the footi.

Rooster is great, we have only just discovered it.

Isn't it? I don't know anyone else watching it but its fab

Awful

Woke up great, house all tidy, had breakfast, bath and headed out in new trousers for shopping and a seagull heavily pooed on me, really liquid like and it actually hurt when it landed. Put me in a terrible mood and nothing gone right since and ended up cancelling plans and also cancelled my rspb subscription in heat of the moment which I know is ridiculous and will no doubt see sense when I calm down

We watch loads of them here, Motorway Cops is a particular favourite. Night Cops (I think that’s what it’s called) is a good one too.
