What’s the best way to ‘spend’ Nectar points?

Our nearest major supermarket and petrol station is Sainsbury’s so over the years we’ve accumulated lots of Nectar points. We currently have £245 worth of points.

I don’t particularly want to use them for a grocery shop or in Argos but maybe for a nice ‘treat/outing’ if possible. I don’t know why but I suspect that the Tesco Clubcard points are more generous in what you can use them for, but we don’t accumulate many points as their supermarket is further away for us.

Any suggestions welcomed!

On the nectar website you can see all the "partners" where you can use your points, so it really depends what your life is like. For me, none of them are any interest so last time I wanted to cash in, I waited till Sainsbury's had one of their big sales on and bought loads of their top-range cookware* and a few bits of clothing.

(*I mean, it's not Le Creuset, but its more than good enough for my uses)

I just use them against the big shop around Christmas time tbh as food is so much more expensive than it was a few years ago.
