What to do with polyester towels?

DH has been gifted 100% polyester towels from his mum for his birthday- she recently discovered temu! 🙄 I never knew polyester bath towels existed other than those sports microfibre type. I've washed them and they still feel like plastic and absorb nothing. Does anyone have a use for them or should they discreetly disappear?

Disappear them

Pet towels. Donate to a cattery.

Maybe sew them together and use as a beach towel to lie on? There's no point donating them as plastic doesn't absorb anything and so won't dry you, the dog or anything else.

About 4-5 washes in they get a bit more absorbant, but mostly my gifted set became doll blankets in DD's hospital or as a layer at the bottom of the boot.

Bin them!

Dog towels
Donate to rescue centre if you don’t have a dog!

I do have a dog, but the towels are useless and don't dry her either! They really are shite 😆
