Can anyone else do this with their toes or is my DH a freak of nature?

Just discovered he could bend his toe back like this on demand. I tried to do it and seem to have no control over my toes other than a wiggle, definitely can’t control one at a time! Who’s the weirdo?

My DH can. He can also pick things up with his toes.

Pair of freaks your DH and mine both!

My ds 22 can use his foot like a hand to pick things up etc.
He's a mutant imo!!

I do the same, it saves bending down 🤣. My hubby finds it disturbing 😝

My son can do that and he can flick the toe next to his big toe back and forth on its own, he used to do it in his baby bouncy from around 6 months old, complete madness in my opinion.

I can wiggle my little toe independently but only outwards, I can't flex them

That is very impressive toe control

Can do that, and pick things up with my feet. Also spend a lot of time with my big toes crossed over the toes next to them which used to creep my mother out. But it is so comfortable!

Is your husband's other leg made of wood?

I thought this was normal?! 😮

Yeah I agree that most people can pick things up with their toes (surely?). You are just temporarily gripping then releasing.

Can some people not do that?

Pieceofpurplesky · 03/05/2026 00:39

I can. Can also use my foot like a hand. I can also dislocate my little toe on demand and pop it back in.
