If you have DC, have they planned days out with friends?

Nope. A-levels and Year 10 exams here and 2 ND kids so I’m big-time body doubling.

Gym, revision, dog walk, revision, church, revision, film, revision, run, revision, cafe, revision. And repeat ad infinitum (or at least ad June)

Can’t wait for exams to be over. Forget about the kids, I’m going to go wild!

What are you all up to?

Staying at home and catching up with some jobs.
We are retired so on bank holidays, we don't go anywhere or do anything away from the house. We were away for a few days last week and are away for a couple of days next week, we arrange most of our trips for term time.

Today dd is meeting her friends at the local park and I will take ds out on his scooter. Dp has some house jobs he wants to get done then we are off out for a family meal tonight just the 4 of us. Tomorrows plan was meeting family in another park and possibly a bbq but the weather forecast may have shat on those plans! We will still see family but an indoors activity.

Nothing special. Were both retired so it's just another weekend for us.

Was meant to go on a date last night but he didn’t message until 9pm to apologise and say he got caught up with family but guessed it was too late for us now. I suggested a phone call instead (as no, I wasn’t seeing him late night), and he initially said it sounded good but then when I called it went through to voicemail. I messaged to say that and he left me on read since 11pm. Feeling really dejected (I’m neurodivergent and have rejection sensitive dysphoria) so just lay on the sofa feeling sorry for myself today. I know logically he’s shown me his true self and better sooner than later etc but it still sucks. DS has not long gotten up. Hope everyone is having a better day :)
