VR headset for 7 year old

Is there such a thing? Son has asked for one fir his birthday but obviously don't want to spend hundreds for a 7 year old. Also don't want a 'toy' that is disappointing. I would rather not get one if that is the case. Totally clueless. Any advice appreciated

From Google:

Most VR headsets are recommended for ages 13+ due to developmental, physical, and safety reasons. While 13 is the standard minimum, some platforms, such as Meta Quest, now allow parent-managed accounts for children aged 10–12. Key concerns include eye strain, improper fit, motion sickness, and content safety.

The head sets are also quite heavy even as an adult IME. You would also have to spend hundreds to get something decent.

Thank you! I thought it was an unrealistic request but was a bit confused as the kids have been on those VR rides in arcades. Back to the drawing board

My 16 year old has one but it wouldn't fit my 8 year old.
