Just interested in which apps people think are worth paying for? I have a few-

Cookshelf- lets you scan all your cookbook bar codes (I have hundreds) and then search for any recipe by name, ingredients, category etc. Gives you an ingredients list in case you need it for shopping (not the full recipe though) and lets you organise, rate and add comments on everything. I'm using my books so much more with it.

AllTrails- great for finding local walks wherever you are, stops you getting too lost.

Ordinance Survey- maps

I pay for brain.fm but that's it really. Oh, I pay for two podcasts, which are not apps but sort of related in my head. Otherwise not really come across anything not work related. Oh, Ableton Note? You can sketch music ideas on it. I used to pay for note apps like Evernote but at some point I realised it was just digital hoarding and I let it all go.

The only two I pay for are Google Photos which automatically backs up my photos and is cheaper than iCloud.
And New Scientist which isn’t just an app but I’ve only ever read it through the app.

I also paid for the official driving theory test app which I think it just a one time payment. I got full marks so I think it’s worth it!
