How’s Your Friday Looking?

I worked a late shift yesterday & now not in until Sunday lunchtime so I’m going to make the most of it. Hopefully it will stay dry! I have 3 Vinted parcels to post & at least half a dozen to collect - gone a bit mad on jewellery! Also need to battle through the BH weekend crowds at Tescos for bananas & frozen peas. Nice to have a tiny shopping list, although no doubt I’ll pick up more! DD17 & I are visiting DM in her care home this afternoon. DM has been in for a few weeks now but DD hasn’t been to see her yet. Not sure what’s for tea. There’s a very good offer on at a chippy about 15 mins drive away but I think the queues will be bonkers. Might do kievs, chips & said peas. Have a lovely day all ☀️☀️☀️

In Spain at the moment. It's national day, so apart from the Chinese bazaars (really), nothing is open.
I've already walked doggo and put a load of washing in the machine.
DH is working and it's my birthday tomorrow.
Best I get to the Supercino and choose a present.
We have spoken about going to Seville on the train, but we would need to leave the dog alone for the day which is unfair for him

We are driving up to York for the long weekend. Absolutely love it up there so beautiful with loads to see and do.

@Mydogisagentleman
Happy birthday for tomorrow. I hope you find something enjoyable to do.

My Friday is stressful atm because I've got a visit from the police at lunch time to talk about the latest problems i've had with the local children kicking my door and throwing stuff at my window and generally causing a nuisance. How it goes depends very much on the attitude of the officers who come out so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

After that's over I can look forward to the weekend as my son's coming through tomorrow for a couple of days and we have a couple of outings planned. The added bonus is that when the children see his car is here I miraculously won't get any bother from the children.

I’m working from home today; I’ve had such a busy 3-4 weeks, but today my inbox is fairly peaceful. My boss is off and I am having a relaxed day.

It’s beautifully sunny so I may work in the garden for a bit. Tonight I’m meeting my partner and going for food and a few drinks for my birthday.

I’m happy 😊

I’m in hospital but at least the sun is shining.

I’m chilling at the moment with my cat. Need to colour my hair this morning and sort out the kitchen - since my DD returned to uni last weekend I have let the kitchen become a mess. Then meeting a friend to see Devil Wears Prada late afternoon with drink after. The cinema is next to a Morrisons so will probably pop in there for a top up shop first as a change from Tesco - see if they have anything good. Tonight it’s leftover sushi.

About to go for an 8km run and then considering taking myself to the beach for a couple of hours

In France and it is a national holiday here too.

Making bread in a bit, going to plant some tomatoes and peppers in the polytunnel and then throw some pottery.

Pizza for lunch as usual on a Friday.

Gorgeous day where i am, working until 3 but at home then off to the village sports club with friends for drinks and a BBQ, raising funds for the cricket club, while the kids all run wild and wander over to the park. They are 9 and enjoying the freedom being back outside more.
