Has any done it? I am due to be discharged this afternoon and fly tomorrow am. Have been declared FTF. Did you get asked for a letter from GP?

Where are you flying to?

My friends has, you have to check the requirements of the country your travelling too. She needed a copy of her prescription and a letter from the doctor

It depends on the country. My brother was travelling with a friend who had some with him for a bad arm break and the friend ended up being arrested and held for 24 hours (despite having a GP letter).

All depends on how much oxycodone and where you are flying from and to.

A lot of countries don't care or don't care as long as you have the prescription.

On the other hand if it's Dubai...

nopeandnopeandnope · 01/05/2026 08:26

I travelled to Australia via Dubai andi took a photo of my prescription and an email from my pharmacist confirming he had dispensed the medication to me .

Can 100% guarantee that if you are in hospital now your GP will think it is not their job to write a letter at short notice for a medication they haven't prescribed.

That’s what I thought @AnnaMagnani

im going to Ibiza, on 10ml / day for 14 days. ChatGPT says it’s find as such a tiny amount it’s clear it’s normal use. Don’t fancy getting arrested though!
