L plates for a Mini Cooper

Can anyone advise on the best L plates for a Mini Cooper? Thanks!

I have heard that if you use magnetic plates then you need the fully magnetic and not those with strips. But will this work on a Mini Cooper due to the shape of the bonnet?

what other types are there? Guess ones you tie on? I also don’t want to damage the paintwork

I used the full magnetic ones for my mini when teaching the dc.
The magnetic strip ones did come loose & get lost. Because of that I did carry a spare pair of the full magnetic ones just in case.

We had some with little suckers on for DD's car which didn't have metal panels in the right places. They were from Halfords I think and could be attached with a length of elastic too. Didn't want adhesive ones as I occasionally used the car and would be a faff to remove.

We used the the fully magnetic ones on a mini cooper but still lost two off the bonnet. In the end I stuck it in the top of the number plate (kind of tucked in) and tucked it in the grill, and had a second one displayed in the windscreen.

This was my first through - to use the magnetic ones and have some spare.
