Recommendations for long lasting car air fresheners for two cars

I have just bought a nearly new car, first time since 2009 - the old one is still going strong now for DD. I would love to have a nice smelling air freshener in the both, I found that Yankee bottles do not really last. Any recommendations? Thank you.

just let you car smell of car instead of artificial chemicals!

DS has a little Joe one in his car - I didn’t realise it was an air freshener at first and wondered how the car always smells nice despite his feral gym kit etc. he has the blue one

I don't know anyone who has an air freshener in their car these days, seems like a very 90s thing! What exactly are you doing in there?!

@NoYouCantComeToTheWedding The 90s are having a revival. I am driving long hours. Sometimes I have a snack and listen to podcasts.

I just use a basic Tesco card one that smells of fresh linen. I don't hang it in the main car cabin, it's in the hatchback and I use it to help disguise the stank of horses asses that is caused by my riding boots living in the car.
