Basic German lessons

I’m going to Germany in a few weeks and want to have about three lessons online with a teacher that can help to guide me through the very basics - conversation not grammar at present.
I don’t want to sign up to lots of lessons and haven’t got a lot of cash to fund this.
How would you begin to find a tutor like this?

Preply maybe. I would spend sometime on YouTube videos and use AI to help with the pronunciation. I wouldn’t spend money on lessons to do basic stuff. You need the grammar from early on as German der, die, das changed depending on the case of the sentence - Akkusativ, Dativ, etc.

Agree with pp. You could also use Duolingo to learn some basic vocab.

Thank you. I’ve started a basic online German course, but want guidance and practice from a tutor. I want to be able to order things in a cafe, introduce myself etc and practice just these things with a human who I can listen to and who can correct me there and then.
