What helps when you’re in that panicky stressed state and can’t get out of it?

Just that really.

Panicky, feel a bit sick, angry, stressed. Can’t concentrate on anything. Keep making mistakes. Can’t make a decision on anything at all.

I’m also dealing with a bereavement at the same time which I feel numb to. I can’t even cry.

Suspect I probably have ADHD but not diagnosed.

Is there anything that helps you when you get into this spiral?

Do you mean in the moment of the heart racing or generally when it’s all the time?

if all the time then I remove everything from my list and do one thing. I ask for help with all the other things. For example I remove all decisions about what I’m eating. Either eat the same every day (a ready meal for ease) or rely on my husband to meal plan.
i wear the same clothes or have a cycle of 3 outfits.

one summer I booked both our holidays for the wrong date. Then we turned up too early. Not life changing but it was a clear indicator that I was overwhelmed
