Has anyone gone to the “Watch with baby” showings at Picturehouse?

I’m just curious how you found it?
My baby is 4 months old now and I would like to go but I can’t picture how it would work 🤣Can you take your pram in for them to nap?
Would love to hear others experiences.
TIA X

I’ve been to a baby-friendly showing at my local cinema (not a Picturehouse). Everyone parked prams at the front, lights were a little brighter than normal, sound was a little lower than usual. People fed their babies, the babies slept or lay on their mums, and if they got a little restless no one really noticed. If they needed changing or got loud then the mom would take them out. tbh, I found the babies less annoying than the usual behaviour you get from grown ups at the cinema these days! I would definitely have gone more often but it clashed with a baby group I wanted to do. It’s ideal when they are 4 months or so, probably up until they are mobile or awake more.

Yes I used to go when mine were babies. It was great, the babies mostly slept on us, a couple of the older ones would crawl or toddle about on the floor as it was for toddlers too. It’s not quiet, but it’s wonderfully relaxed, and you can watch the film whilst baby feeds or sleeps on you, and you don’t feel embarrassed if they cry or fuss as it’s full of babies doing the same. Definitely try it 🙂

I went when mine were little. You had to leave prams outside the theatre area. But everyone was feeding, changing and stood up rocking at some point! All very relaxed.

We have to leave prams outside. Most people hold their babies and they sleep, or some of the bigger ones crawl around. It doesn't go dark, and the sound is lower than normal. It's pretty chilled. My husband used to take my son every week, they loved it.

Absolutely lovely with a small baby. I had to stop when I realised mine was old enough to be paying attention to the film (that one had a lot of swearing in it too 😂)
