Hello can anyone recommend a Chinese restaurant that's memorable and special with good portions of food . We all adore Chinese food abd Id like to try the best ever we can !
I thought that would be China tang but the reviews maybe hint that it's taken a down turn...

Can't remember the name of it, but the one in the Shard has amazing views, a bit pricey, but loved it when I went.

It was a while ago, so definitely look at most recent reviews!

a wong has 2 Michelin stars ? I’ve not been but the one person I know who has gone says it’s unbelievable

I was also going to suggest A Wong or Hutong.

Park Chinois?

A Wong - I wasn’t bowled over by it at all but decent obviously

Hakkasan Mayfair has great food and vibes (starred I think..)

Yauatcha is great for a party and delicious food - middle of Soho too

I love the Good Earth in Knightsbridge for quality but will be more sedate / quiet atmosphere wise

And…. The new Chinese restaurant at the newly opened Peninsula Hotel is meant to be superb - plus will be very up to date and boogie decor. Haven’t tried

Great suggestions what we liked about China tang was that it has our favourites eg DH loves crispy chili beef so i wanted to get him the best version of that dish etc .
We all love duck as well.
A Wong wouldnt work because we don't understand the menu !

Mei Ume in The Four Seasons hotel at Tower Hill is amazing.

Hakkasan

Yi Ban by the Royal docks and Excel Centre is very good, but not very central. Several years since I was last there, excellent food, I think we had "banquet for 10", loads of chinese people there having dinner. I've had some good meals (and some bad ones) in the Gerard St, China Town area, a lot are for tourists who will never return.

Hutong. Great food and unforgettable views from the top of the Shard.

I also love A Wong and went there for my own birthday- had the chef’s selection. It’s a much more intimate environment.

Many, many years ago we went to the one in County Hall which was amazing - but I don't know if it is still run by the same people.
