Party catering - help please...

Sainsbury's occasion food-
Has anyone used and can recommend?

I'm looking at catering for 30 adults and 10 kids. I thought 3 x 30 quarter sandwiches, 1 x 24 for the kids plus some fruit kebabs, wee cakes and some crisps.

Has anyone ordered the fruit kebabs and can give an idea of how many per pack? Also, the savoury snacking selection - I think these are all ready to eat has any one tried?

Doesnt look great to me. You might be better off buying things incidentally like pack of cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, etc, maybe go to the deli counter?

looks like 10-12 skewers. The weight is given.

Do you have a Costco near you and are you a member? They do good party food to order and sandwiches.

I am but collection doesn't work with logistics on the day as the warehouse is quite a distance away.

Storage beforehand is problematic too as I only have an under counter fridge so the ability to collect all this on the day is attractive.

I don’t think that will be enough, unless all the kids are 1. That’s only 3 quarters per adult and 2 per kid. You’ll want 2 fruit kebabs per person, including the kids so that’s 80. And something else as well as those and crisps too, maybe pizza, or sausage rolls and crudités.

I’d say that is nowhere near enough food!!!

Ok. I'll perhaps have a rethink.
