2 adults 2 kids age 10 & 12
would love to do Disney Florida this summer. I have an unexpected cash sum to spend on a fantastic holiday. Can spend £10,000 happily, possibly more. Kids would be over the moon.

i don’t know where to start, it’s overwhelming.

so please help me! Tell me the best places to say, how long for, where to go etc.

I’ve got 2 week holiday in the school summer holidays.

thank you!!

If your kids love Harry Potter then you have to go to Universal- it’s incredible. I would advise staying in one of the three top hotels on site - hard rock, royal pacific and I can’t remember the other one. They include early access hours but more importantly come with express passes for everyone which are worth their weight in gold. You’ll still need to buy entrance tickets too but Universal do their express lines really well so three long days will be enough to do everything thoroughly including Epic (the express passes don’t include Epic) but maybe not volcano bay

Kids LOVE harry potter

ive looked at some hotels, i’m not keen on 2 double beds for 4 people. Would prefer separate beds for my kids, even better separate bedroom! What would be the best option for accommodation in that basis?

we would probably be out all day, not returning until we’d finished in the park for the day. We’re just not the sort of people that would go back and forth.

They’ll probably prefer Universal to Disney if they love Harry Potter. Though Disney’s Hollywood Studios Star Wars Galaxy Edge is on a level too for immersion.

As mentioned, you can get a 2 bed suite at Universal’s Endless Summer Surfside (or Dockside) hotel for a really affordable price. Endless Summer has shuttle buses to all the parks and is located on International Drive (with a direct gate) so you can walk to the attractions and affordable restaurants based there too.

Universal Studios has Diagon Alley and the Escape from Gringotts ride and King’s Cross where you can ride between there and Islands of Adventures (2nd park) on the Hogwarts Express and back. Island of Adventures has Hogsmeade and Hogwarts Castle with the Forbidden Journey ride inside and a junior coaster Flight of Hippogriff and a new(ish) family coaster featuring Hagrid and his creatures. Epic Universe (the new park) has Wizarding Paris and the Ministry of Magic elevator ride.

I’ve stayed in villas & private hotels before but would always use Universal Hotels when doing the Universal bubble to save money on travel and parking and also for convenience and the enhanced experience.
