What to wear to TA interview?

I have an interview for a TA role in a state school tomorrow. I have to go straight from work. Should I wear comfy but somewhat smart clothes? Or properly smart?
Thanks in advance for advice!

I'd go comfy but smart, not full on suit smart. You'll likely have an exercise to do with a group of children and smart formal wear would be a bit out of place.

Good luck!

I don't think you need to wear a suit levels of smart but smart top and trousers or a reasonably smart dress would do it I reckon? Perhaps more on the casual side if it's at primary level.

Smartness level wise, I reckon it's in jumper not jacket territory but a relatively smart jumper?

I'd probably wear trousers and a nice top. Not smart, like a suit, because it's not that sort of job. Good luck!

Thanks! I wore a fine knit merino jumper and black trousers, and it seemed to go well.
