Injured pigeon?

There's a pigeon with what looks like a broken wing sitting on the ground in our garden. Is there anything we can do to help it?

If not, ask chatgpt to help you find a service locally.

If you take it to a vet they will euthenase it.

Hit it on the head with a heavy shovel or stamp on it.

A predator will get it, as is nature's way. If you don't want that to happen, you'll have to catch it and contain it to take it eg to a vet's who will euthanise it

Thanks everyone (well, maybe not Knickerless). My partner took it to the vets in the end; they probably will euthanise it I suppose, but at least the poor thing won't be in pain anymore.
