Going to a Yoga retreat for the first time…

Any tips, advice??
I’m packing leggings and tops etc.
Will it be relaxed re yoga experience/ability (I’m quite new).
I have my own room but have to share a bathroom.
Only know about 5 of the ladies going, not other 20.
Is the atmosphere friendly?

It depends a lot on the style of the retreat what to pack and what facilities there are.

is there a pool? Water?

do you need to take pillows, eye pillows, yoga props?

a book, journal?

is it different clothes for dinner or really casual?

Have a wonderful time!

Well I've gone on my own and I was fine (not a yoga newbie though).
I would make sure you have warm or cosy clothing, especially socks for meditation/pranayama as you can cool down quickly because you'll be laying down or sitting for a while.
Are you going to a purpose built studio or a hotel?
A good teacher will differentiate and offer options - make sure you mention injuries up front.
