Boring photobook question

I used to get all my photo books from photobox as you could upload directly from Google photos to photobox but that no longer seems to be an option.

Google photos photo books are a max of 250 photos.

Do you know of anywhere I can upload directly from
google photos to the website…all my photos are stored there and it would be a pain to have to download them and upload them somewhere else…!

I used to do at least one photobook a year but am now really behind…!

Photobox and Snapfish have both stopped Google photos uploads. Apparently the issue is with Google not them - they changed their policy so that they no longer allow you to grant permission to third party apps to access all your photos; and want to make it so you have to grant permission only for specific photos.

I don’t entirely understand this (ie why can’t I continue to give Photobox access to specific Google photos albums, plus I think it’s possible to give WhatsApp access to all your photos). But either way, I’ve not been able to find any other photo book companies which allow direct upload so I had to resort to downloading specific albums onto my laptop and uploading those.

I'm going to try MixBook photos for this very thing, after getting Claude to sort my photos for me

How do you use Claude to sort them?

It’s so annoying isn’t it @PopcornPoppingInAPan?! I’d pay extra for Google photos but it’s so limited on numbers of photos.

So I use Claude cowork which you do need to pay for, but it saves me a lot of time!
It can organise photos and add tags and labels which make it easy to find things. Ask it to walk you through how you want things organised and the best way to do it
