How can I remove greasy marks from sticky toys on walls?

My kids went to a party last month and in the party bags were they sticky people that you can throw at the wall and they stick. However these ones seem to have left awful “people shaped” grease marks on my wall 😡 I’ve tried magic erasers, washing the wall with a wet cloth. Neither worked. Is there anything I can use or will I have to redecorate? If the kids didn’t have such a good time I’d be complaining to the parent!! They are not even small marks and are the exact outline of the little people so they look awful 🤦‍♀️ Help!

Washing up liquid was my first thought.

If it's too stubborn for that, maybe try ironing it gently with a piece of kitchen paper in between to soak up the grease as it warms.

Sugar soap was my first thought. Should remove grease without damaging the surface.

Micellar water. I now keep a huge cheap bottle in my cleaning cupboard along with microfibre cloths as it’s an excellent stain remover. Worth a try definitely.
