So I ordered some Birkenstocks-seller looked legit, had a good "score" etc. Of course they were fake. I tried to do the "there's something wrong" but the fucker had blocked me, there's suddenly several negative reviews saying the same thing. I reported to support and they said they would deal with it and dont send duplicate reports. The 48 hrs has expired and they've processed it and thats it. Bank wont do chargeback as I haven't got an expert opinion. Im really pissed off with myself for falling for it but also with useless Vinted support.
Anyone had any redress in similar, or just want to rant about them?

My experience is that as long as you've escalated to Vinted they don't release the funds to the seller and hold them whilst they investigate. I know you said the 48 hours has gone but have you had a message to say the funds have been released to seller? If you haven't it usually means they are investigating. Took weeks when I sold something and posted through Inpost lockers without a printer - turns out the wrong labels were put on the items so my buyer got a random piece of clothing instead of the shoes they were expecting. All got sorted eventually.

I've had a pretty good experience on Vinted until this week when I have come up against 2 different sellers sending "new" children's items that have turned out to be worn and covered in food!! I wanted to contact Vinted about one of them but couldn't do it through the listing so I've no idea if it will just time out before I can get someone to look at it. So annoying!

Yep, its complete. They said even if support had been dealing with it, once the 48 hours is up, tough. Which isnt what I understood, I thought they'd suspend until they investigate. All I could do was report the scummy bastard as hed left his name and address on the label.
