DH 130 FIT test so worried. Please help

DH had a few episodes of bleeding a few years ago which eventually stopped. FIT test was normal so they thought polyps.
He had the bleeding again this month. He had the FIT test and it is 130. We have just been given this result and it’s now the weekend. We have young children and are beside ourselves with worry. No other symptoms at all.

96% of people with a positive FIT test don’t have cancer & if he doesn’t have any other signs of cancer (unintentional weight loss, night sweats, unexplained bruising, sudden change in bowel habits) then it’s much more likely to be something like polyps or haemorrhoids, or unmanaged IBD.

Your husband will get screened & based on the screening will determine what set of investigations are done next: Blood tests, Colonoscopy, CT scan etc.
