Last Thursday a pain grew and built up on my rightnside under rib by morning 111 called ambulance . Pain severe and i couldn't get comfortable.
X ray showed blafk.swirl. said was gas.
Blood tests didn't show anything remarkable re liver and gall bladder. Given PPI stomach lining stuff becsuee they said use of anti inflammatory may have caused this.
That was Friday I'm still burping a lot but not smelly burpes. When I wake up and am the pain is not severe but obvously trapped wind.
I'm on stronger ppi twice a day now and eating very bland food like white rice , soup white bread banana and yoghurt.
Doc has got me a gall bladder scan but no other tests etc

What if it's not hall bladder what can I do ? What should I ask for ...
I had yellow stool at one point but it's normal now.
Pain still in one spot and lots of burping.

Not a medic but I had my gall bladder removed and this is how the pain was. I had a constant dull ache and then the "attacks" were severe pain. On a par with labour pain. Mine was infected though and removed immediately once I had an ultrasound. You will know more after the ultrasound x

If it turns out to be gallstones, get yourself some digestive enzyme tablets and take after meals. They don’t work for everyone, but I rarely have gallbladder issues now and don’t even need to take them all the time. They work for me in conjunction with daily walking and regular apple eating.

What are these? Colesevelam? I've got terrible issues since having gall bladder out

Solidarity it's the worse pain EVER.
I can never work out exactly what brings it on for me but it's absolutely awful when it does. I find stress doesn't help either.

Holland and Barrett sell them and some places online. It's brown glass bottle, Solgar digestive enzymes.
