PMT symptoms but no periods? Common in peri menopause?

I'm 50, excuse my ignorance but I've been feeling my period will start soon for the last couple of weeks (they are not regular) but no periods. Is this just a common symptom of peri and will they pass,?

Ime, yes. I also found I had the bloated feeling that didn't go away, because there was no period at the end.

yup, Ive had sore boobs, bloating, cramps, carb cravings then...nothing!
Its not uncommon to have periods that are longer, heavier, even back to back. I had one every 2 weeks for a couple of months.
Your hormones basically go batshit crazy before they leave the building!!😆
