How can I improve a yellowed bath panel in a rented flat?

My plastic bath panel has gone horribly yellow from the sun. It's a rented flat so I'm not allowed to replace it but I absolutely hate the way it looks and would love some ideas on how to either make it white again or how to cover it. I've heard cream hydrogen peroxide might work but I'm a bit nervous to try it.

Seriously tempted to just paint over it! It looks absolutely horrendous and makes the bathroom feel dirty even when it's just been cleaned!

Thank you!

That looks much better, OP. I'd be delighted if I was your landlord 🙂

Thank you! It's made the bathroom feel so much cleaner!

Couldn't you replace it and keep the old one to put back before you move out?

I think one more coat after a gentle sanding and it'll be grand ☺️☺️

I also absolutely love the soft pink instead of the blue! I wasn't sure until I got some on the wall but it's so much nicer!

I live in a flat with no where to store it unfortunately!

Jesus, you've got paint all over the place. The landlord will not appreciate this.

I couldn't see the problem you have with it in any of your photos - but you have made a problem now.

Are you the landlord?

Looks a lot better, OP.

I wallpapered mine. It looks great.

It looks much better, are you going to paint the walls too.

Why wouldn't I get my bond back?

Yes. ☺️☺️

Also the floor looks horrid here but I'm getting new lino which will cover the filler around the base of the sink (which wasn't done by me) and not be covered in marks and scratches.
